Long-awaited FunFlyStick toy has finally arrived to the
United States and began its journey to the retailers nationwide.
FunFlyStick has
been first presented to the general public at the 2008 Toy
Fair. Unitech Toys Inc/Toysie LLC booth was filled with
people interested to see this unusual and intriguing toy.
If only Unitech had some wands for sale they would have
sold thousands directly to the public right there at the
show! FunFlyStick is the first ever battery-operated electrostatic
toy, a revolutionary beginning of a new type of toys. Circling
the floors at the Toy Fair it was not hard to see that FunFlyStick
is truly the coolest toy of the Toy Fair! The product is
very visual and requires demonstration to boost the sales.
Luckily, Unitech Toys offers an introductory promotion which
includes sending to each retail store a demo set and extra
flying toys for demonstration. Talbots, a brick and mortar
neighborhood store in San Mateo, CA, reports that during
a one hour test demonstration the sales of FunFlyStick were
remarkable.

Olympic Games in Beijing are the main theme of daily
life for today’s China. Everyone prepares for the
event. How can anyone go to the Olympic Games and come
back without a memorable gift or a souvenir? The retailers
are ready. Tons of plush toys and small figurines featuring
new Olympic mascots are everywhere. China loves plush
toys. But look, high-end stores have something special
to offer. And this special toy is the FunFlyStick! Walk
down the WANG-FU-JIANG district which is downtown shopping
street. Chinese call it the “Gold” street
as it is the most famous shopping area in China.
Stop at KUNG CMEI Department Store, local equivalent
of Macy’s, or check out WU-FU-JING Department Store,
which is Beijing’s SAKS FITTH AVENUE. Or, you can
visit the Jun-Yiaw Beijing flagship store. This company
is the biggest toy distributor and supplier in China.
They are the fastest growing toy seller from Shanghai.
Last year, Shanghai WORLD EXPO 2010
Committee awarded them the right of TOY licensor title
for WORLD EXPO 2010. You can definitely buy memorable,
limited edition Fun-Fly-Stick in those stores! Olympic
colors and logo on the handle, Olympic mascots on the
control tube, holofoiled gift box, exclusive for Olympics
flying toys – all these are features of the first
limited edition of the Magic Levitation Wand, FunFlyStick.
Patented worldwide, FunFlyStick (Fun-Fly-Stick), is the
only battery-operated electrostatic toy on the market.
People made simple electrostatic toys long ago. Rub a
balloon on your hair and watch the hair stick to the balloon,
or stick the balloon to the wall. That is one of the electrostatic
toys we all know since childhood. The selection for the
Olympic gifts has begun long before the event. After all,
the first visitors arrive to Beijing already in April.
They are the ones to oversee the preparation for the great
occasion. Of course, the stores have to be stocked up.
Everyone buys gifts. Hundreds of thousands of toys and
gifts were proposed to the Olympic Committee, but only
a small fraction of them got selected.
Round after round, slowly, FunFlyStick made its way up
to the top. "Wow!" - was the constant response from the
audience. Ingenious, patented solution implemented in
FunFlyStick, put this toy into a special category of notable
toys and allowed it to get to the final round of selections
for the 2008 Olympic Games.
Millions of visitors from all over the World are going
to see it in Beijing stores. Hundreds of thousands of
them are going to take it home as a memorable gift.Everyone's
favorite, mesmerizing magical toy is coming to the US
stores in August
